Yup. I finally decided on a name for real this time
I filled out all of the necessary paperwork early this month and right now, I am officially and legally Zant
That was the name I chose. I'm very pleased with this name since it sounds nice and Genderless..and if you can guess where I got the name from, it's even more awesome :P
I got a new Social Security card with the name on it and now the only thing I need to get is a new Birth Certificate...but golly..they said it will take seven months for it to go through! I know some people here have got their names legally changed and I thought I'd ask..does that sound about right? Seven months to get a new birth certificate? It just sounds long to me. But in the end, I'm happy with the name Zant. I'm comfortable with it.
I guess this is sort of a celebration topic, but I thought I'd get it off my chest once again
more like 2 months from fill out papers to legal change and 2 more months to receive a new BC
I like it. Nice to meet you Zant! Not sure about the time frame though. It only took me a few minutes to get mine changed. All I had to do was present them with the court document showing that my name had been legally changed.
The reason they told me it would take seven months was because I was born in California and now live in Arizona. If I still lived in California, it probably wouldn't take as long
ye that may do it. They change it right away for me but took long time to send it to me. I was in same state and county seat when I changed mine.
From Twilight Princess? Am I correct?
Yeah, you're right Lachlann
