How much do you spend on feminine clothes in a month?
As all women.. too much :embarrassed:
It depends a lot, a little bit more lately 'cause I think I finally find out what is my style and how will I want to express myself.
I was without a job about 15 months, so total budget for clothes and shoes is about 100-150€/month.
The second I'm sure that I'm done with the outside world for the day I change into my girl's clothes, and I stay in them until I have to go out to deal with the outside world.
Maybe $30 tops, but more like $15-20, if that.
My current budget is $50 per month, but I shouldn't really spend that much. But I need some kind of budget or I'll end up spending more :P.

The question was how much do spend
on clothes, not how much time do you spend
in clothes :).
It depends on the season. I purchase most of my clothing in the fall and winter months. I see to make a large purchase after christmas, during sale time. Shoes are my year round weakness!!!
On adv. maybe $50.00 per month. (without shoes)
I love to shop, I just hate to spend, and I favor Goodwill/SallyAnn (which used to be much better before the recession when there were fewer shoppers and more stuff being tossed out), so it's rare (like never) for me to pay more than $5 for a skirt, $3 for a top (cause I love the 1/2 days most of all). I also try to maintain a kind of zen attitude about material possessions, so I don't buy anything without getting rid of something at home so that it does not overwhelm me.
Not enough!! ;D
Being unemployed and broke doesn't leave a whole lot in the budget for shopping, but I spend what I can (sales) reasonably afford/justify, just to have something to wear.
(just waiting for that visit from Stacey and Clinton and that $5000 to shop in NYC)
If I am lucky, maybe $30 a month. But it goes a long way when you shop at Goodwill. ;)
Way too much
I tend to shop as a hobby, and can't resist some things. I have a relatively good income so I keep the economy going as a public duty.

I would be glad to be your economic keeping-going-er in the US :).
In Aus when the financial crisis hit, the Government decided a finacial incentive package was needed to makepeople spend. So they gave an indexed amount of money back on income tax. Yea shop girl shop. I think you need to lobby Obama, less guns more frocks

Not Enough.

OMG thank you Goodwill ladies!
I go there everytime I am in town. I also try and hit this one "Factory2U" type of store called Falles that has awesome prices and some decent things.
I'm also wondering why Payless is even called Payless anymore?! I remember back in my club days I would get boots and heels for pretty cheap there. Now it's like I'd rather go to Pennys or Bealls and get something brand name for the same price.
Sometimes I spend a bit more than I should... But most often I don't spend much at all
I guess it all balances... Or at least I would hope so
I often feel like I have too much stuff and want to share with others :P
I just bought 2 new T-shirts that are girls T-shirts. One says "Play with me" the other says "Impossible love". The first one is for when Im feeling adventurous and the second one is for when I want people to realise Im not easy!
I dont spend much money on clothes but when I do its fun!

I've gotten 90% of my clothing at Goodwill. Found some very good bargains and great styles.

$20 to $30 tops, more once I switch jobs
about $50/month is what I spend on clothing but heels on sales are very hard to resist.
I usually wait until I see a good sale....
This week I received a bunch of discount coupons from a mail order company I usually buy from. They're valid for three months, and to use them all I'll need to buy stuff for about €300 (but pay €200).
I think this might be a good time to get some of the dresses I've been looking at lately :)
And after the three months, it's about time for my tax return to show up :D
Janet Lynn brings up a great point , I guess thats why she's a moderator ....... Still Goodwill has a store here that sells clothes three days a week by the pound ! Now ya can't really try the stuff on as it's the clothes that didn't sell at one of their stores for one reason or annother . Still, Ive seen Liz Claiborne , Worthington , and some Sag Harbor . In tops , I'm a 20. In skirts , I'm 16-18. Pants , whew all over the place .
As for my expendutures , I guess my biggest expense is Pantyhose and thats because I have poor circulation in my legs . The hose help to releive the pain , seriously ! I spend I guess mabye 30- 40 a month in clothes , shoes , and other assorted goods . By the way , I'm full time , have been for years too. Ellen
$20 a month. I buy very infrequently, but I'll spend a bit more per item than most. But then, that's sort of in-line of my philosophy of buying for the situation (loose & comfortable, typically masculine, for casual/informal -- good looking, typically feminine, for others).
$150? That's about the most I've dropped on a dress, and it's really quite lovely.
$500 for a top? For some reason that reminds me of this: http://www.webcomicsnation.com/shaenongarrity/skinhorse/series.php?view=archive&chapter=44332 (http://www.webcomicsnation.com/shaenongarrity/skinhorse/series.php?view=archive&chapter=44332)
riven takes a moment to consider her meager clothes inventory.... and decides she doesn't spend near enough! :D I just don't make the time to go clothes shopping (for either male or female clothes).
I'd kill for a spectacular set of heels! And one day they will be mine.
I've spent over a hundred dollars on 2 separate occasions
It really varies for me and then there is the whole "Wants VS Needs" thing to consider
I may want hundreds of dollars of stuff but only really need a new bra or some panties etc.
Plus my budget tends to fluctuate to some degree... So first I pay bills and then decide what's available and what is worth spending on or not
Confused bitch say... "One well priced quality item is worth twenty overpriced crap items" - Greatass Shopper
Roughly 30 USD/month currently...
I tend to spend at least $100 every time I go to the mall and shop. Depending on finances, I would estimate about $125 a month is the amount I spend on clothes. That might change since I am running out of closet space. Hahaha...
Wow... I probably spend about a $100 or so a month. My first love is pantyhose and not the cheapy day sheer either. So I'd say about 60 for hose, and the rest on lingerie and skirts.
I need to get some shoes, but its hard to find my size that isn't frumpy or stripper shoes.
