A policy that added controversy to the opening of North America's first women-only pharmacy has been changed. Lu's: A Pharmacy for Women and the Vancouver Women's Health Collective now welcome transgendered clients and others who self-identify themselves as women. Members of the relatively new local feminist collective the Femininjas are pleased.
Awesome..
but...
Femininjas?
Really?
I don't like the fact that it's a women's only pharmacy. That is segregation. That's like a white's only pharmacy. I can't believe they can get away with something like that.
I have to admit a womens only pharmacy seems a bit extreme. I do definitely understand women's only gyms. Guys can just be...vile when they see women working out in a sports bra. I do wonder what the women's only gyms have policy-wise for tg/ts clients?
