ver the years I've seen one or two Endo's but does anyone know of any Endocrinologists who specialise in gender dysphoria in the U.K? I've found difficulty in finding an endo who has experience with transsexual patients. NHS or private. Any info would be very helpful?
I'm still looking?
...........and still looking!
I know it's very frustrating not finding services, I spent 2 years like this. A general doctor might be able to help you, try contacting trans groups in the UK, that's how I finally made a break though. I'm PMing you a link for a UK site, it has a practitioners guide.

There are endocrinologists around in the U.K but they don't specialize in GD.
My present Endocrinologist is listed as one of the best in the U.K but he just says I won't get the female fat distribution like a natal female. Both he and his colleagues are quite negitive towards transition rather than trying to help me. I've been on HRT full time for nearly 10 years and on HRT intermittently since the 1990's.
I've been quite depressed about my situation and would like to find an Endocrinologist who is willing to try more things, rather than one who is not willing to keep trying.
To be completely honest, most boys have more boobs and hips than Milla Jovovich. Some gals truly have very boy-ish bodies, very lean, skinny, and flat chested. This is pretty much what's showcased on every model runway, there's no fat to be seen. It could be possible that hormone therapy will not do much for you beyond overall hair and skin changes. I would think though that at least a bit of change in the hips and chest should happen in all cases, though...I would definately try to see if any other hormone combinations may help.
Not sure if this will help
