Chaz Bono has taken another step towards completing his gender reassignment, filing papers to legally change his name and gender. RadarOnline.com has learned that he hired a lawyer from the Transgender Law Center to handle the process.
"Chaz Bono has filed a formal petition in California Superior Court to legally change his name and gender," Chaz Bono's Attorney Dina LaPolt, told RadarOnline.com. "He is legally changing his name from Chastity to Chaz as part of his gender transition."
