So here is me from last summer. What I need is your opinions Should I go with a Bikini this year or a one piece. Click Here for Pic (http://photos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs264.snc1/9119_145825971483_518496483_2537709_4665607_n.jpg)
There all up and fixed.
Your links need to have spaces in them.
Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
no need to use the URL tag if you're just putting the URL without link text-

That should work.
If you can pull off wearing a bikini then you should go for it. Here on the beaches in Sydney you see everyone from little girls to old ladies in bikinis, all shapes and sizes and sometimes tops are optional lol I was a bit shy about going to the beach in my bikini the first time but there's so many others out there its not a big deal after all.

lol not having good luck it seems.
Probably be easiest to upload them to photobucket or somewhere then just link the [img] link to post them.
I fixed the link for you.
Im not one to Judge but I think you should wear whatever you feel the most comfortable in. That photo makes you look really tall or something. Next summer Im going to wear a Bikini at the beach I think. Ive warn them at my mothers swimming pool when she went away years ago and I looked allright. I need to trim my tummy a bit before summer here. Just remember if you wear a Bikini all your parts are easier to see. So if you have any doubts wear a one piece. But personally I hate one pieces but that just me.
Yes... be sure to wear sunscreen!
I think you can pull off a bikini, but as it has been said, wear what you feel comfortable in.
yes
I miss swimming, but I feel very uncomfortable in bathing suits. I suppose I'll have to get over it eventually. I've got pretty bad asthma anyhow, so it's not like I can swim terribly well... Heh.
Great band
From your pic, it looks like you could!! :D
Hi, Bikini every time and you look as though you can wear a bikini without any bother. If however you are pre op like me at the moment you have to tuck well. I have worn bikinis without any bother but you have to be extra careful for obvious reasons, lol. Lets face the truth, bikinis are small and don't give any lee way in that department. Personally I love them and prefer them to swimsuits.
Also as as been said, put on the suntan lotion too. But you will be nice and brown with a bikini.

Great band
How did I not mention this before?
Yes, a great band. :D
I would never wear a Bikini bottom pre-op. You girls who do are brave and must be really good at tucking.

or maybe we've just shrunk a lot lol ;) But yes, one has to be careful, and a wrap when you're not actually laying out helps too.

yes fairygirl, I forgot to mention a wrap. I do use one when I go to get an ice cream, etc.
MsGiselli, na, not brave, just like to push the boundaries and see what I can get away with without being outed, lol. After all we have to live our lives and not be fearful to be ourselves.

You need to learn the Law of Thirds, carefully consider your lighting angles, avoid awkward or distracting background elements, fill your frame with your subject or subjects, choose appropriate depth of field and focus, and expose and post-process for good contrast and color balance. ;)
(The bikini top looks fine, though.)
Thank you for all the encouragement and thank you for fixing the link. I am preop and I do plan on wearing a bikini this season I am how ever looking towards a cute ruffle skirt style.
Wow, did you really pull out a photography class there?
The law of thirds does not need to be applied to every photo and honestly cannot be expected to be used all of the time. Look at some of the most famous photographers of our time, this definitely shows that the law of thirds can constantly be broken with ease and still create a beautiful photograph as it isn't the "norm" any longer.
The lighting wasn't really something we could do much about. Since this was taken as a candid shot during a swimming trip I wasn't going to wait until the sun was just right to get a picture of my fiancee playing around climbing a tree (not to mention that moment would not have happened until the next day since I can't control the movement of the sun).
The same applies to the background, I don't control what grows on the tree and I don't control which trees at a lake are capable of being climbed up to be out over the water.
Zoom and depth of focus go out the window with a camera phone, just as the process of exposure does not apply to digital photography.
Maybe if we are going to talk photography we should look at photos that are intended to be great photographs instead of someone's snap shots. After all, if I needed that much improvement I doubt I would have spent years as a newspaper photo editor and I probably wouldn't have become a published photographer in several different books on the subject of photography and art. But thanks for the feedback.
I was just teasing. That's what I intended to convey by the ;). I guess I failed. (The only reason it was even a little bit serious was that it was a bit difficult to tell from that photo how she looks in person, and thus harder to answer the question.)
Please forgive me if I offended.

Well I certainly forgive you and understand now that you meant it as a joke. A bit of advice for the future though would be to be a little less detailed and long winded in your jokes. It actually seemed like you were being really serious because it was so indepth lol. And as we all know, sometimes around here many things aren't meant to be jokes but hide behind that idea when they do offend. In the past though you have been really nice so I was a little surprised and thought it was out of character when I originally read it.

That what makes it funny.

And that's when it becomes comic gold.
Remember, it's only funny until someone gets hurt, then it's hysterical.

I always take really detailed things to be serious, but I do tend to be a pretty serious (and blunt/direct) person.

I love it when people say that, it's just one of those things that amuses me (the saying, not necessarily someone getting hurt although that can be funny too).
