I thought I'd give a one month report, a few days late. I started HT on March 10, on what I call training-wheel doses of Estradol, Medroxyorogesterone and Finasteride. Within 15-to-30 minutes I felt a strong sense of elation, more calm and complete validation that this is the right thing, in fact the only thing to do. The elation has moderated, I remain more calm (more calm, not calm) and still completely valadated. My BP has gone down some.
The physical changes have been minimal: Perhaps a bit of skin softening, Maybe minscule breast size increase - maybe serious wishful thinking, the nipples are more erect, no paiin, itching or discomfort. Down below, the penis seems to have shrunk (Yeah!) the boys may have a little also (double Yeah!!) The male output seems to have decreased considerably as well as being more watery (totally scientific testing results only, of course! ::) No other real changes to date. I have noted no side effects so far.
My next appointment is the 21st - at six weeks. Hopefully, I get the doseages kicked up a notch or three.

You may want to keep a photo journal. I can't see much difference in the mirror. However, when I flip between the picture I took today (almost 4 weeks in) and the one I took before I started there are definite but subtle changes. It's always good to have a reminder of how far you've come ;)
I started on March 18th, different combination of daily consumables. I take pictures as I get laser treatments and every several days, and I take notes on anything that seems worth note for future reference.
I have been surprised to note a few tiny little suggestions of change here & there, but have mostly been pleased at how much better I feel in a general sense. I've become dramatically less aggressive when frustrated, for instance. And the hot flashes I was having before HRT have stopped entirely.
I'm just glad to be doing it at all. :D

Yes, I know. I'm not watching for them, I just ... excuse me a second ... I just check very ocassionally.

A very good idea, thanks Kieri.
