Title: Thinning Hair
Post by: Janet_Girl on April 15, 2010, 02:01:05 PM
Hi Boys and Girls and Unicorns,

I have found an amazing product for thinning and balding areas.  It is called "Toppix." (http://www.toppik.com/keratin-protein-hair-building-fibers-spray-toppik.asp)  And it really works.

I am breaking my silence to proves it.

Hmmm, so you have to have something there for it to 'bind to'? I'm more in need of something that will bring back the areas that have no hair left. Where I have hair, I HAVE hair - thick, dense and full. Where I don't have hair (receding hairline) there is nothing at all.

You may have very fine hairs there, that you can not see.  Also you might be able to get a style that would hid it.

This looks interesting. Is this like a powder you sprinkle on the hair?  How does it feel on your scalp, and does it come adrift easily? Also, how often do you have to use it?

It is a powder like substance.  And you use it when it looks thin.  It sticks to the hair and you can use a spray to help keep it in place, although you don't really need it.  Wind is no problem, as I live in a windy area.

You can not really tell that it is there.  A sample is only $21 USD and it is well worth it to experiment with to see if it is right for you.

Thanks, Janet.   I think I will see if I can find it.  I was just wondering how it felt on the scalp.
My son had his hairdresser put a powder conditioner in his hair a while ago, and it flet like he had spent the day in the garden, really dusty. I have done a bit more research and it sounds like it could be a good thing.
Until I sell my house and downsize, I won't be able to afford a transplant so it sounds great.  I wonder if they can transplant back hair to the head! LoL
