Title: Weight on T
Post by: Brittyn on April 23, 2010, 08:46:24 PM
How long have you been on T and how much weight have you gained?  (not becoming fatter)
I've been on T for almost 6 months and gained 25 lbs.  Most of that happened in the first 2 months, I think.

Almost 3 months and I went from 114lbs to 125lbs. So 11lbs I suppose.

I've been on T for 19 days and I've gained about 5 pounds but I've also been going to the gym so it could be muscle.

Mine's from muscle, but I'm not regularly working out either. testosterone increases muscle density and growth so you're most likely going to gain weight from the change in your muscles.

I gained 10 lbs in the first couple months, but have lost it again since then.  I've been on T for 1 year.  For a long time I was staying the same weight, but getting smaller, so I assume I was gaining muscle and losing fat.

Good to know. I've completely changed my diet since starting T. I guess since my depressive feelings left I don't feel the need to eat sweets anymore so I'm eating tons of fruits, veggies, and nuts. I've gained weight so I'm blaming it on muscle because I ate terrible and all the time pre-T.

Nah, it goes on the gut if you're livin' the "chillax'd" life ;)

What you already have won't magically change overnight though (it will shift a little with time, but it's glacial).

Heh heh, sorry folks - no contribution here. I don't have scales at this house.

Though I can say it's been 6 weeks and my upper arms are a little bigger.

nah, i'd say that aspect is about the same as before I started T.  Also, before T i was around 120.

I've been on T for 6 months.  I weighed 126lbs on the day I started T and I weigh 142lbs now, so I gained 16 lbs. Luckily it has been all muscle. My body fat has went from 14.2% to 12.1% I just started working out last week so I'm hoping to be able to get up to about 155 lbs and for my body fat to drop a little more. Also i'm 5'8" just thought i'd throw that in

Yea its pretty sweet! I don't know the exact numbers but one of my buddies was a bigger guy before he started T and he has had a big drop in his body fat % without working out. T does the body good!

I wish T had that kind of effect on me. It hasn't same fat, same muscle. The fat shifted but didn't leave.

When I first started I was around 118 pounds and between T and working out I got to 130 after 7 months, I'm pretty sure it was mostly muscle.  Then I had surgery and haven't worked out since and I'm back down to 120  :(.  Been on T about a year
