Transgender Candidate Running On Conservative Platform

The Log Cabin Republicans, who have provided a community for conservative gays and lesbians for more than 30 years, may need to make some room for their transgender cohorts.

While the idea that there are LGBTQ folks hanging out on the right wing of U.S. politics may be mind-boggling to the left-leaning queer majority, it's an undeniable reality.

Case in point — Donna Milo, a transgender Republican businesswoman in Florida, is currently vying for the 20th Congressional district seat and calling for a return to conservative values in government.

It's not that surprising, since telling from the way the article described her platform, she is an economic conservative and not a social conservative.
