Baby Dee is a bit of an enigma. If we were referring to nearly any other musician, that description might be cliché.

The transsexual, virtually unclassifiable musician is a former Coney Island side show act and New York street performer, but at the age of 57, she has only begun to record her music within the last decade. And there's quite a wide audience for her mix of Gregorian Chant, harp and accordion music.
