Plus, he takes my insurance! My T won't be covered, but I can handle that. I'm so stoked! It pays to look around at endos! I see him May 12th, crossing my fingers and hoping for the best. All he needs, he said, was a letter saying that I'd been in therapy of some sort (not necessarily for transrelated issues) and my ID and insurance. I'm pretty sure I'll be a clear cut case cause I've already taken my own steps to get to where I want to be on my own...(ie Rogaine for facial hair, I deepen my voice when I speak..etc...) :D :D :D
Very cool. Your on your way now.
Bet you are chomping at the bit to get the T.
Awesome!
I went to my endo not even knowing that he did informed consent. Best surprise ever. Hope yours is just as awesome when you go see him.
Awesome, and congrats. I wish more endos would do informed consent. I really get annoyed at all the hoops we're forced to jump through to become ourselves, so this kind of news is always great to hear.
That's great, congrats!
Congratulations! I wish I could have such luck; maybe I will, who knows.
That was how I got my HRT started, informed consent. Just ask all they could say is 'No' or not without a letter.
hell yea dude! congrats man! good luck
I wish there was a list of docs who will go by informed consent.

Ha. We should start a movement. All the trans guys in each state should look up their local endos...and then post the Info. It could be a wiki page. Think I'm kidding? I'm all for it.
Actually I think that is a good plan.
haha. Sticky, anyone? I'm in Ohio.
