Does anyone else take comparison photos? Not just before and after photos. I mean taking a picture at exactly the same angle on a regular basis to compare T changes and stuff.
I take a photo of my face every week.
I'd be really interested to see everyone elses photos.
I did for the first two months. I also recorded my voice (speaking and singing) and did that for about 3 months. Got real lazy after that lol.
For privacy reasons, I won't be putting my picture on the site, but I like looking at other people's transition photos. Go for it :)
Shame, I'd love to see them. I document my transition on YouTube, so that covers voice changes, but I never bothered with "this is my voice at x weeks on T" soundbytes or anything.
Just rammed all my photos in the first post :)
whoah! this is awesome.
Once I'm on T I may try it out.
please keep doing it.. id be interested to see more.
Haha, thanks :) It's definitely worth doing cause you don't really notice your face changing when you see it every day.
That's really cool, Ryan. I can't put my finger on exactly what changed, but you look older from your pre-T photo (the second one) and your very last picture.
I wanna start doing that, its awesome to see your changes. I am pretty obsessed with the photobooth program on my computer, and it is fun scrolling through all the pics from pre-transition to now. I look so weird with long hair.
Even tho I'm not on T yet, I feel like I can see changes from my earliest transition pics to now. I just look way more comfortable in my skin.

And now, way better!!
It's like I no longer have this constant chant of "I hate myself, what's wrong with me" in my head.
cool idea Ryan, keep it up, its looking good
and elvis, your hair in the second picture is just awesome haha
I can't believe you're not on T yet Elvis
And Ryan, i dunno why but at week 7 I start noticing some differences.
That's my got out of bed at 12pm hair haha.
lol better watch out i think that styles gonna be a big fashion hit soon 8P
eek! it is achieved by putting dax wax in my hair once or twice a month and only washing my hair with baking soda. the wax just stays in and i only need to ruffle my hair a bit to style it.

you can wash your hair with baking soda?
Why yes! I am anti-shampoo, esp with real short hair. It's an unnecessary scam. So yr hair produces its own oil, shampoo strips that oil, yr hair freaks out and produces extra oil. That's how oily hair works. People think it's normal to shampoo every second day, but it used to be more like once a week. Like how in old movies women will get out of dates by saying "I'm washing my hair" as if its an event.
So I stopped using shampoo, once a week/fortnight I wash with baking soda made into a paste, massage that in and rinse. Then condition with vinegar diluted in a cup of water - that balances the PH. In between, I just wash with water if its a bit manky. It can take a couple of weeks for yr hair to get used to it, but then it balances to its natural level and cleans itself. I used to use baking soda twice a week, now I'm more like one a fortnight. It's cheap, easy, great for yr hair and the environment.

hmm you know, I may try that. you know, you can also use baking soda on your face.. the micro beads in the powder clean your pores :)
Yeah give it a go! Baking soda can do so much stuff. It boggles the mind.

Alright, I can't resist...
You got baking soda! You GOT baking soda! EVERYONE GETS BAKING SODA!!!
;)
Ryan that's what I plan on doing once I start T, but I'll also take voice clips. I'll take a pre-T photo and voice clip as well to compare. I hope I don't get lazy about it as time goes on LOL. After awhile I might only do it monthly or something.
I like the baking soda idea, for hair and face. The first couple weeks will drive me mad though because my scalp gets really itchy if I don't wash it every day.
How do post pictures in threads? I would love to add some of mine.
Post the image URL between [img] tags.
Hm. I used to do the no-shampoo thing with long hair (conditioner only), but with short hair I'm actually enjoying being able to shampoo without worrying about ruining my hair because it'll get cut off before it's visibly ruined. Plus I like smelling like Axe. Hides the girl-smell.

you just need to go to photobucket.com and then upload the pictures you want, and they it will give you the img code you need
To the shampoo thing-- I have to admit one of my "girly" obsessions is Lush. 8) I use only Lush solid shampoo (their cinnamon shampoo bar is the only thing that tames my dandruff). And I do love their lip balms. I don't do the strong flowery scented anything, though...
wow thats an idea and a half elvis. i try to wash my hair least as possible, every other night usually, sometimes every 3. because my hair is just really thick and weird and looks like crap right after its been washed, but mint after a couple of days of no washing. it sucks though i still have kinda long hair, atleast for a guy. i really want to try a shorter cut, but kind of apprehensive since i'm not out yet and my mom and everyone will just call me dyke :/ ill have to keep that tip in mind though for whenever i do get around to being able to cut it ;o)
looking good bro.
humm....maybe I should post my pics .i've been on T for 10 weeks (i think).
My scanner isn't working so i don't have a really good photo of me pre-transition.
But me four years ago:

No T, just a haircut and different glasses. Don't have a good full body photo of current-me but will soon (i hope.)
I don't have any photos where my head is NOT at an angle.. lol.. so, these will have to do..
This was during my overcompensation phase. I was uber feminine.

Very beginning of transition (and pre-T) - right after my first "boy" haircut (this was seriously the shortest my hair had ever been cut, so it was a big deal for me.. haha)
