Hello all,
I visited IRC once or twice a few years ago, but have decided to return and join properly at last :P. I'm quite crap at introductions or talking about myself - I either say too little, or too much so I'll apologise in advance ;).
I'm currently living as a homosexual male with my partner of 8 years. As a male I'm generally quite masculine, but have always had feminine qualities and a longing to be female. I'd probably consider myself 'bi-gender' if anything. For years I have always said "When I'm older I'll become a woman", but this year especially I've changed my mind dramatically and can't wait that long.
I generally get on with most people despite my growing cynicism :P.
Hmm, I think that will do for now ;)
Dani.
Hi Dani, :icon_wave:
Welcome to our little family. Over 4600 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.
Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams. Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.
But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. :icon_hug:

Thanks for the warm welcomes!
Just read through the formalities, thanks; They seem pretty straight-forward ;)
Little Dragon: Great! It's nice to hear you're still with your boyfriend; mine's also supportive - but he hasn't seen me in makeup and a wig yet and has never seen the female pudenda in person so... ;)
Ooh, Newcastle Brown Ale? Dangerous stuff! :P
Seems like a great place here with nice people :).

Yes, it is good to have such loving boyfriends who support and care about you through everything, even transitioning! :) You found yourself a really good boyfriend :)
hi dani and welcome :D
Hi DaniZ
Newcastle Brown Ale. Nectar of the Gods. Sadly I cannot get it here (Australia) probably just as well
Cindy
Hey, you ought to find your boyfriend some reading material about transexuals because I'm sure your he is a little confused about this (as would any partner of a transexual). In my experience, my boyfriend was very scared about losing "me" as in my personality :( Not anymore after I linked him to some sites written specifically to educate partners, teehee
Hes so lovely ;D
Thanks, Little Dragon; Good idea! He nearly asphyxiated himself last night due to laughing so much at me attempting to put makeup on, so perhaps some reading will do him good xD.
Hola.
I <3 newcastle, had some amazing nights out up there when visiting friends.
Hi Dani,
Just wanted to say hi, I'm also from the U.K and have been in similar relationships in the past. I don't think that any of my ex b/f's would have been as understanding or supportive about transition so it sounds as though he might be a keeper.
Take care Millie xxx
Woohoo! More from the UK! :D Welcome to Susan's from me here in sunny London! 8D
I have a few relatives living up in Newcastle, and it's awesome to see that there are more folk from the UK than I first thought. Welcome to Susan's! :)
Welcome to Susans, I'm from the UK too. :)
Another UK person here, bidding you welcome. :)
