Title: Muscle pain on T
Post by: austin86 on June 07, 2010, 10:26:46 PM
I have been on T for almost a week now and have noticed alot of muscle pain. it takes alot to slow me down but this pain has been overwhelming and is totally kickin my butt. i feel it in my biceps and calves alot but the back pain has been absolutely extreme. i have never heard of this talked about as a side effect but i was wondering if any of you guys experienced this or if this is a cause for concern.

ugh yeah. I just hope you don't get joint pains.  My muscle hurt for only 3 or 4 months but the joint pains lasted until 8 months.  I'm not sure if the joint pains happen for everyone.  I was 18 when I started T so maybe they grew slightly

edit: it's nothing to worry about, but make sure you're drinking a lot of water.

It might just be muscle growth. I know some guys who got cramps and all that the first little while, but I haven't had anything like that happen to me.

Make sure you are getting enough protein in your diet. That is what stopped mine.

Yeah, make sure you get enough protein and also enough calcium. Your body naturally builds more muscle when you're on T than E. Also it helps calcium retention and can cause thickening of the bone structure (which can act like growth in your height/hands/feet).

A lot of things will change pretty quickly and sometimes this can cause pains in muscles, joints and "growing" type pains. Stay active and stretch your muscles? Might help.

I had and still have growing pains as well as some days where my muscles are really sore and tense. It was more extreme in the beginning.

I didn't get any of this. If anything I've had less muscle pain.

For about a week or two my shoulders felt like they were being pulled out of their sockets.
