I think my curly hair makes me look more feminine but if I straighten my hair I look more androgynous. I'm going to grow my hair out too.
I straighten my hair every day, even though I look more masculine with curly hair. I hate the feeling when my hair is curly. It feels too unruly.
I havent straightened mine in a week it got like incredible huge on my head plus I dont comb it so it is even more all over the place
I definitely straighten my hair, its usually wavy

I don't, but my hair is pretty straight anyway.
I have to straighten it. Looks way too awful when wavy/curly.

OMg thats hot.
My hair is pretty straight already, so I don't bother straightening it. But if it starts to grow out too much, the ends get a little wavy, so just getting a haircut normally fixes the problem. :)

I wouldn't be able to even do that. My hair has been known to break brushes when it gets too tangly.
Besides the messiness, I also straighten my hair because the best styles are straight ones. I had stick straight hair when I was little, why couldn't I keep it?! >:[
I keep my hair longer and straightend because it helps hide any noticable cheekbone structure. But I guess it doesn't work for everyone
I don't straighten my hair. I like it a little queer.
I used to straighten it because I have frizzy curly hair which would look like a fro if I didn't straighten it.
Mine's naturally straight. Like really straight.
Never straightened my hair. Never even thought. It's probably too short to straighten at the moment anyway.
I don't really care how my hair looks that much to be honest, as long as it keeps my head warm :)

I did back in the girlier days. Fried it, I guess I was doing it wrong. Gave up and chopped it off, it's good now. But if I start growing it out I'll have a little 'fro so now I really do have to trim it.

I was still a dude when I was straightening it...it was a male cut but my hair is just too darn wild!

Whoa, well compared to that I was whining about nothing.
Being white and growing an afro is a talent.
Sometime I do. When I do, I usually just straighter my bangs, the back of my hair, and the hair on the side of my face ("sideburns"). I mostly straighten it when it's all humid outside and I get bed hair and it sticks up everywhere.
I don't straighten it when I'm lazy or feel like lookin rocked out :p...

Or it means you just have really curly hair. I've known quite a few white afros.
Still, it's an epic afro.
See Icon... Nope. My hair is clipped very close right now, but once it passes two inches or so, I usually wake up looking like a hobbit.
I only straighten it when I plan on spiking it up for the day 8) Your supposed to straighten it in a certain way, and then use this really cool powder stuff that makes it stand! And I also straighten part of my fringe :P
To achieve this effect :o

I used to straighten it a few years ago, but I kind of like how wavy and messy it gets sometimes. :)

is that you? if it is. YOU ARE SEXY and if not.. then he is sexy lol
I do, but not for the emo-kid effect. When I'm done, it doesn't look like it's been artificially straightened.
I'm growing an 80's sleezy-guy pony tail and my hair is at awkward length. I have to straighten it purely to keep it under some sort of control.
I'd really rather just pull it back and not worry about it. I hate awkward length. No idea what to do with it, and requires way too much product to look reasonable. My old pony tail was much less maintenance.
Hahaha, I wish it was me! Its not unfortunately :P
Nope. Hair is straight as pins. Friggin azn.
I don't like to straighten my hair, but I do occasionally when it's really unruly and I can't find any other way to fix it. Like ironing a shirt that just has a few wrinkles on it. I use the flat iron on those wild places in my hair, or places that stick up when I wake up in the morning. :)
When I had the emo swoop going on, I straightened my hair. My ex-roommate who is a cisgendered male, straightens his everyday.
Um... i'm the one who's burnt themselves with a curling iron [formal stuff, i was...12?]
Don't trust myself with hot objects enough to try :P
During the summer I almost always have to straighten my hair. Otherwise I get little curls going every which way, no matter how short the hair is. The shorter the hair, the tighter the curls. During the winter, I only do it about half the time--whenever I'm not feeling lazy. At least the front and sides. Not insane enough to try a hot object behind my head if I don't absolutely have to. :P
How does you put a picture in this place?

Haha, yay for hobbit hair! I'd look ridiculous as a hobbit, though...
My hair is naturally straight, but has a layer of frizz over it that I've considered straightening. Never have, though. I tend to see hair fixing as a girl thing, so I've avoided it at all costs. Logically I know that it isn't strictly a girl thing, but still... Maybe after I feel more comfortable in my body...
Emoboi- You first upload your picture to a site like photobucket and then either post a link or put the address between [img ] [/img ] without the spaces for it to show up as a picture in your post.
EDIT: ^^^^
You put the image between [ img] tags, not url tags.
Shoot, my bad. You're right. I'll go fix it...
I was gunna showz but my camera broke :(
I used to get mine chemically straightened coz my hair was like really poofy and hard to manage. But I haven't done it for like 3 years and it's ok now :]
My hair is completely straight but at the length it's at now the ends sort of flip up. I usually don't care, but for my friend's wedding last night my sister insisted on straightening my hair so it didn't flip up. It felt really awkward having my sister straighting my hair. Definitely a disphoric moment (I felt like I was supposed to be experiencing these "oh sister's doing a makeover, what fun!" type feelings but I felt like one of those dads who lets their daughter put colorful ponytails in their hair). Although I have to admit I really liked the way my hair looked straightened...
my hair is to short to straighten
