Title: How to find support and others in your area
Post by: Melanie on November 17, 2006, 03:38:57 PM
Hi to all.

I have a question about finding other CD's in my area.  I know in the larger cities there are CD support groups (I used to belong to one before I moved), but where I live now there are no groups and therefore no opportunities to meet and talk to others in the community.  Any thoughts on how to find others when there isn't an organized group in the area?

Where are you, Melanie?  Check our links area under health.  There is a resource link to the International Interex Organization that has resources by state.  You might find something driveable.

Also think about attending a TG convention like First event in MA, Texas Tea, Southern Comfort in Atlanta, Esprit west of Seattle.  You'll make friends who will have other friends.  You know: 6 degrees of separation.

And here.  You may meet a neighbor here.
