Title: Storing Sperm
Post by: JaimeJJ on June 24, 2010, 05:24:08 PM
Does anybody know where to go to store sperm before starting hormones? I want to have the option of having children some day, and I know that hormones would eventually stop that happening.

I've tried looking online for how to store sperm, but I can't seem to see anything anywhere!

Any idea anybody?

By the way I'm in the north west of the UK.

Thanks

These can give some information. You will probably need to make special arrangements. But your therapist or doctor should be able to help and support you.

They are not N England, but are given for information.

I really have no clue, but I'd be kind of surprised if sperm bank/donation places didn't also cater to private storage, or at least would be capable of directing you to organizations that do. At the very least, it might be worth some phone calls. If you learn anything, please share, I've had this issue on my mind lately as well.

Coo, likewise - thanks for raising the topic. I'll be keeping an eye out down South too, but I guess all signs usually point to London anyway.
