LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY (Fox 41) -- A southern Indiana family's lives will be on stage this weekend at the Kentucky Center.
Fox 41's Candyce follows the transition of a woman who says she was trapped in a man's body. And the journey that healed the O'Bannon family and put their story on stage.
"My brothers would tell me that I would say, I can't wait until I grow up and I'm a girl." Miyia O'Bannon says, from a very early age, she felt like a female trapped in a male body. She attempted suicide as a teenager, and that was a wake-up call for a family that didn't want to accept what was happening with second son Aaron.
