I wanted to tell her ages ago, but never had the courage. Today, I finally told her because I could not keep it kept up inside anymore. She guessed what I was going to say before I said it
She said she is in full support for me, and loves me no matter who I am. I know she doesn't have a full understanding of what ->-bleeped-<- entails but I think she is open to learn. She will help me find a local gender therapist and I'm happy for that. ;D
OMG you are very lucky indeed.

That is wonderful. Remember to keep the communication open. I presume you are MtF? (based only on your name). If so be a loving daughter to her.

I told my mother too but she doesn't understand me and says I need to do some soul searching. What does that mean? Can anyone help a girl out.
Sorry, but when they says "do some soul searching", it is code for "You are making a mistake, in my opinion". And they may not support you. I hope I am wrong, but I have heard it before and it was not a happy result.
Just stand your ground and own the ground you stand on.
Thanks now that I know this I plan on starting my transition after I move out. I thought it was going to be easier but I guess not. At least I have my friends support.
