If cost was no option, which method of T would you choose & why?
I went with gel/cream since it's working for me so far.
Injections because I think I will enjoy giving myself them, I'm a creep.
Injections, just because I'd be better at taking them than something I'd need to do daily.
injections because as far as I know, you don't have to do it as often, it works faster, and its cheaper, plus I think i like needles
Injections:
A) Takes 5 minutes at most out of my life every two weeks
B) I do not have to worry about it coming off onto my dog
C) Sticking myself is fun
I think injections because its over and done with. I can't remember even to take my tablets for my cholesterol so dont stand a chance with others. The gel/cream i would worry about contaminating my girlfriend, my dog, the bed, and also whether i was doing it right
I'd prefer the gel, because my hands shake too much to do injections.
Though injections because they're cheaper and I can barely remember to do anything daily.
Injections. Less frequent, no contamination worries, no worries about malabsorption or getting sick, less stress on the liver...yeah. I'd prefer an implant (my ideal would be prosthetic balls that release T) but with today's technology I'll take injections.
Uh, there is no pill as far as I know...there is something I've heard of called "natural transitioning" which I guess would be pill form? It's exercising, eating certain foods and taking supplements to increase your body's testosterone production.

There are testosterone pills. They're usually used to help men boost their testosterone, but injections are also available too.
Steroids as well.

But it's not an actual pill filled with testosterone and thus not a testosterone pill.

Yes it is, check out Hudson's Testosterone section under Testosterone Types and Delivery. I don't think I'm supposed to post the link, but you should be able to find it that way. :)

One is illegal in the US and the other kills your liver/isn't for FTMs.
Soooo...in my mind there are no pills.

That may be so, but it doesn't mean they don't exist.
Gel/Cream, because I absolutely hate needles.
I probably would not enjoy stabbing myself (not really a masochist) but could probably get used to it. The cream would get on things, but I wouldn't have to worry about my, as another transman put it, "weekly cycle."
Even hormones would be nice, but I guess the real deciding factor is whether or not I'll be touching people much. IRL probably going with injections due to them being cheap.
As much as I haaaaaate the need|es...
I much rather prefer the injectab|e.
The Ge| is too time consuming and it comes with a risk of contaminating my peop|e and a "don't shower for x hours" and stuff |ike that.
It seems that no one here is aware of this type, but I think I would actually prefer taking a subcutaneous pill. It's something that's put into the skin and releases the testosterone hormone over a period of three months.
Of course I might start off with injections for a year, maybe two, but after that I'd much prefer something I don't have to worry over every week for the rest of my life. Also I don't know how much I could stand stabbing myself
If you haven't heard of this, it's something to consider if you've been injecting for sometime and are not "feeling it" anymore.
Injections.
But only because it would do my head in putting gel/cream on every day and waiting for it to dry etc.
I have an intense, intense needle phobia. So I'd have to with gel despite the down sides it has. Self injecting isn't something I could ever do for myself. I pass out even getting pricked with a needle by a professional.
I'm really not a big fan of needles... BUT every other way has too many downsides. injections is definitely my preference, i'm just gunna have to suck it up.
Injections or an implant. I like low maintenance.
3 month injections would be nice, every two weeks is getting old. At this rate more people would have seen my behind than the goatse guy's ;).
