I just wanted to say hello. I've been so busy with work, and then when a two week break for the dubious Thanksgiving holiday arrived, I have further thrown myself back into trying to get my web and graphic design company going full steam again so I've had no time to visit, much less chat.
I hope all is well, and wonder, for those of you in the States, what you are doing for Thanksgiving? And if you aren't from the States, then I wonder if you have traditions that happen around this time of year.
At any rate, despite any cynical attitudes I might have towards this looming and lingering holiday season, I did want to give thanks to everybody here. You have all helped me so much, and even when I can't get around to post, you cross my mind a lot. So for what it's worth not being delivered in a greeting card or in shiny wrapping paper, "Thank you. I love you all, just the way you are."
And now as I am about to submit this, I wonder if I should have submitted this in general talk or something. Well I am too tired to put it another board so hopefully the word gets around that I think you are all the tops! (er, bottoms whatever euphemism means "the best" in your argot).
love,
Madison
Right back atchya Madison. I'll be making my own traditions here in my household. Sure I carry on some of the family stuff. My new family is here where I live... and not where my family lives. I'm welcome at the old homestead, but I would rather spend my holiday here.
I did lots of baking in the wee hours of the morning. I'll be preparing a super big breakfast in a few minutes and get the bird in the kettle and going for supper later tonight.
Best of all, I am here in my home with my husband and my friends where all are welcome.

Thanks so much, Madison. I wish you the very best also. :)
I enjoy your posts and PM's very much. Take care and have a wonderful thanksgiving! Don't be a stranger now.. ;)

Hey Madison,
Thanks back to you! I have enjoyed your posts and discussions...even if they do make me think a bit too much (I'm a mental couch potato :) ) But seriously, those discussions have helped me a lot, and I look forward to many more.
I was wondering where you had been, but then I have been a little too busy the last couple of weeks myself. Glad to hear that things are going well for you. Drop me a line and let me know about your website...I'd love to check it out!
Hope your Thanksgiving went well. Talk to you soon.

Yes I know what you mean about being buisy this time of year. I myself sorta dread this time in one aspect of heavy work loads from my retail and work aspect. I still have a whopping head ache from black friday (arriving at my store to a huge line) and all the manual "early bird" sale, and huge ad. We had so many customers, I tried to remain cheerful (though I must admit to you all, I just wanted to hide in one of our far corners).
In the same aspect I am also thankful for the boards here. For those that take the time, no matter how brief or long. For those that consistantly visit, and for those just posting for the first time.
Happy thanksgiving.
I felt slightly uncomfortable myself for making a long post a few weeks ago and then disapear into thin air again ;)
Yeah, life can be very busy sometimes!
I'm still very happy that I found this forum, but I know that I will unfortunately not be around a lot in the next months. I will travel to Malaysia for almost 2 months and in the time before that there is a lot of work I have to do. (and christmas of course and stuff like that)
Your post (and the reactions on it) helpes me in the way that I still feel welcome and will feel welcome in a few months, when I have more time. And I am still such a newbie here.... ;D
I've also been too busy to check in recently, but I'm glad to know the forum exists and I'm thankful for all the special people here.
