Title: Goddess Bunnie AKA Sandie Crisp
Post by: tinkerbell on November 24, 2006, 04:05:46 AM
Quote from: B. MarionA Few months back this video labeled "the creepiest video on the Internet", made it's rounds on the Internet and pop-culture. I watched it as everyone else did, thinking this was some poor Polio stricken girl.

Here to find out, this girl Sandie Crisp is a notarized and respected transsexual actor in Hollywood. While she still suffered with polio since childhood, Sandie Crisp who is also known as the Goddess Bunny began life as Johnnie Baima.

Now that the public knows the real identity of Lady Bunny, I am sure that she will become an inspiration for many TS people who are still debating about transition.

Transsexuals will transition, right Steph? :)  They sure will.

There's a girl who I have recently met at a support group meeting who was born deaf.  As I listened to the struggles she had being deaf and added to that the difficulties we all face as transsexuals, I found myself in awe that with all she faced she remained positive.

While we deal with our own personal challenges we need to remember there are people out there like Sandie who have far greater challenges than we do and somehow they still make it.

That's the reason why I posted it.  Sometimes we cry and whine about our lives and do not realize that there are other people out there who are going through the same thing as we are plus a zillion more of other things.  The first time I watched it, it made me feel so selfish, and I also cried.

She's indeed an inspiration for everyone, TS and non-TS folks.
