Has anyone done business with American Laser Centers? If yes, what were your experiences like?
When I started researching for laser I found nothing but bad reviews for American Laser nation wide. The company has issues and they seem to have major troubles keeping staff.
Do some looking around your local area, chances are there is a compitant small buisness who relys on quality service instead of a brand name to carry thier buisness.
Personaly I am going to a wondeful woman localy who owns her buisness and has worked many transwomen, one being her sister. Her spa is small but nice and the staff are profesional with a touch of small town charm.
I, too, found many complaints but also a handful of glowing reviews.
I used them, Over all I'm happy with everything. Just like any other place you go they have good techs and bad techs. I had a difficult skin type to deal with, but once I found a tech that wasn't terrified of burning me it turned out pretty good :)
i have heard bad reviews also but i must say that they have been great for me so far. i've done 4 out of 6 treatments so far and the hair is very patchy and i have confidence that majority of it will be gone by the end of the treatments. it has increased my passabilty by a lot just having the 40-50 percent reductionin in hair.
They high pressured me into putting down a 10% down payment when I went for a "free" consultation and then when I backed out because I had found some place cheaper they refused to refund my money even though I never had even one session with them.
Find some place else is my advice.
Well, I've started treatment with them. To their credit, the nurse had a chance to up-sell me on their own skin care stuff. Instead, she told me I could use any aloe vera lotion.
