Might have to put school on hold, and focus on earning so you can survive first. I know we hired like 10 people for the holidays at our store so far.

Bummer!  :(  Probably she just said that because she was upset; perhaps as the days pass, she will change her mind.

Dang!

I hope Tink's guess is right.  Pleeze, pleeze, pleeze let this just be a temporary scare, and may cooler heads prevail soon!

You're in my thoughts, dude!

Karen

P.S., put me in your crisis-support rolodex, too!

Is there someone you can go to who she respects and will be understanding of your situation, a minister, a pastor, a close relative?  It seems someone has to open her eyes she's throwing the child she gave birth to out in the street without any consideration as to what you will do.

I hope this can be resolved before permanent damage is done.

Aww, I'm sorry Jaded.  We will be here for your emotional support.  Do you have a friend you could move in with for now?  That's what I did when my parents kicked me out years ago.

You could talk to the school about it. Until you have a permanent solution, you can couch hop for a bit. I've been doing that, since my apartment is too far fromt he school now that it's been getting too cold to bike everday.
