I wonder how long it will be before people learn to stop using religion as a tool to keep themselves safely in their comfy boxes?!? D:

Ridiculous!!

Quoteto promote the homosexual agenda

OMG    Equal rights under the law.  One hell of a nasty agenda.  Gee maybe these freaks would like to take away equal rights for minorities and women.  They are frigging redneck morons.

Whenever I read or hear about something like this, I'm reminded of a song my bro's old band wrote.

Who are you to say what's wrong or right
Hidden in your life
Hidden from the fight
You don't know your left from right
Right from wrong
So don't drag me down with your ways
I give you a chance to hear what you say
You push onto me your only way
But I'll take the time to find my own
My own way
Another lesson learned is another one taught
Another young mans brain is turned to robot
Programmed by the way they learned to live
Pushed onto him their way is now his
No end to the fall
No end
My way
My way
My way is the only way
Breathe
Falling
Pulled down by the way they want to do
My way to you is no good
Let free and open your mind
There's more than one way for each kind
Try and you will find opportunity
It's no so blind
Many ways amongst yourself
To find a cure for someone else
Knowing not of what to
You take the time
To think it through
One way taught is all we got
Another way known is all we want
No end to the fall
No end
Your way
Your way
It's always your way

QuoteKenneth Copeland

hmmmm.... prosperity gospel preacher, under investigation (or has been) for lavish spending and questionable tax exemptions for his jet.

Perhaps the members of that church need to tend to their own house first before criticizing others.

Here is how these bigots find their 'christian beliefs'

Reading the bible...

Stone children to death if they talk back. Turn page..
Kill your wife is she is not a virgin on your wedding night..turn page
Kill someone for working on the sabbath..turn page
Hate homosexuals and kill them...ah, finally something I can use

It's funny to me how these religious zealots will lean on their bible as their proof of how wrong we are for living the way we do when they ignore so much of it in their own lives. Religions basically only take from the bible what they "agree" with and discard and dismiss the rest, then if you point any of it out to them, they tell you that you are "interpreting it incorrectly". Well just how in the hell are they to know if THEY are even interpreting it correctly?

Wasn't the bible translated from ancient texts written in dead languages? What if half the words had no direct translation to English? How much of it then, could be completely wrong or backwards?

Religious people want to talk about how bad we are and how sinful we are, but ignore the fact that almost all wars have been fought over religious beliefs which to me boil down to mere differences of opinion because people can't just agree to disagree and leave each other alone.

How many races and classes of people have to be wiped out due to religious bigotry and ignorance before people realize that it's just plain wrong?

I just wonder how these people can sleep at night.

Do they really have so little to do in their lives that they need to spend time ruining others'?

And two big things these idiots don't seem to get:

1. The Bible is translated--half of the stuff has an entirely different meaning in the original language. (I.e. though shalt not suffer a witch to live? Yeah...originally it meant specifically spellcasters with evil intentions...regular spellcasters were perfectly acceptable and even sought out)

2. The Bible was written a LONG LONG TIME AGO!  If people still followed the exact word of everything written way back when, we'd still be chopping off hands for stealing and plucking eyeballs for adultery. People change, societies change, and religions do, too. Some idiots just think they need to whip out ancient texts to prove that they are right, because they are too close-minded and stubborn to see differently.

Lastly, I'll end with the disclaimer that I myself am not Christian, but studying religions are a hobby of mine. I apologize if I've offended.

They are to Christianity and everyone else with compassion for others, what 'Dr' Phil is to psychology. They would like the rest of the world follow them and do as they want you to do.
How many times have you had or heard the frustrated daydream of "If everyone just did as I want them to do, the world would be OK"? It's usually followed by a little laugh, because the idea is so absurd. If you play around with the notion in a group discussion, it's funny for what people come up with as ideas. "When I'm King of the World" makes people laugh.
A debate with these people is useless, they walk away thumping a book of interpretations, as was said earlier, and you're interpreting it wrong. That statement is boosting their rights to control humanity, and leaving you out of the club.
Instead of confronting them, arguing with them, discussing with them......We should be laughing in their faces. And that's a far easier way to get people to join you in agreement. And fun.
They are part of the 'Those who wish to rule by fear'. If everyone had just started to laugh at Hitler and his goons in discussions and when they saw them strutting around with their crap, they would have gone and laid by their dish. Don't let their words of fear bother you. They don't know much, kinda like Dr Phill.
Like always, there's a wealth of humor and joke in Redneck Morons. (Sorry Redneck Morons, but it's true. The world laughs at you. Like laughing at Larry the Cable Guy. Moronic and funny.) Theirs a wealth of humor in the Christian Taliban type religious zealots. ->-bleeped-<-'m. They don't know about the hell that we go thru already. And how we manage to do that. I'll bet religion helps a lot for those who CHOOSE to let it guide them along.

I talk to much and it's just my very humble opinion, and not to be taken as any kind of truth. Just a perspective.
