I'm Hillary. I'm 22 and mtf living in Raleigh, North Carolina.
I like music drawing, reading and dreaming.
I'm currently working. starting school as soon as I get my documents
in order. I'd like to study psychology, not completely certain what I
will do though.
I came out to my mother as female ~3 yrs ago. After refusing 'repairative therapy',
I convinced my parents to let me talk to an experienced gender therapist.
Soon enough I began HRT which has been amazing.
I have been fulltime for about 2 years. It's been a challenging experience
resocializing myself, but I understood that before coming down this road.
Anyway, thanks for having me into your community.
I look forward to learning more.
Hillary
Hi Hillary, :icon_wave:
Welcome to our little family. Over 5300 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.
Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams. Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.
But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. :icon_hug:

Hi there :D
happy to have you here
Hi Hillary! Thanks for joining us, you're just in for curtain call! It's grand that you have had the chance so far to go on full time and I hope one day I'll get the wondrous chance to do so as well...But for now I'll make due with the ruptured time I have now.
Once again, thanks for joining us and I strive to see more posts from you!
Hi, Hillary.
Lookin' good!
Of course, it will take a while for your parents and friends to adjust, but there's a very good chance that they will. My mom (only remaining parent) and friends are adjusting. Just keep the lines of communication open.
Psychology major? Ever thought about becoming a gender counselor. There's a real need for good ones. My gender counselor is a genetic female, but she is retiring in May of 2011 and is turning her practice over to ... a transman who has a master's in ... psychology.
Just an idea. Glad you're here! Get involved!
