I heard binders cause health problems, so would it be bad to wear a binder at work every day?
I bind pretty much all day the the guys I know do too and they seem pretty fine.
It can be uncomfortable at first if you aren't used to binding and/or your job involves strenuous physical activity, but generally I think it'll be fine.
I bind nearly all the time and I seem fine. I try and give myself a break now and then in my dysphoria allows it though.
Like windowlicker pretty much says: it depends on your job.
If you have a job that involves a lot of physical activity then you might want to look into a binder that is less tight/more comfortable to wear during work. You could also simply bring a subsitute (bra/whatever) to work so you can change out of your binder when it becomes uncomfortable. No matter what work you do though, always remember: never-ever bind too tight.

Hi zomzom, I guess you might need to refer to this thread https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,80602.0.html (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,80602.0.html) (I've been asking the same question a couple of days before!)
Tiffy
The issues are quite minimal if you use a commercial binder (as opposed to the problematic bandages solution).
I bind daily (I don't really have a choice - stealth at work) with the bog standard underworks double front compression shirt and walk, climb, bend, etc at work. It's not super physical, but it gets generally hands on.
I'm usually binding 13 - 15 hours each work day, and whenever I'm going out of the house on my days off.
The only issue I've found is that binding + smoking + virus = harder to clear the crap out of your chest . Other than that - totally fine.
I've just started binding for work (I accidently bought a light compression Underworks binder and with no money for a tighter compression binder I just fold it over several times and pin it, it works pretty well) and I am pretty okay with it. The only problem I have is it doesn't stay folded at the back so tends to dig in by the end of the day.
It shouldn't pose a problem..it's up to you and what you feel comfortable with. I use my binder every day at work, though it's not a physical job and I'm not technically out as trans. I haven't had any problems personally but like I said it's really up to you.
