We all know that signatures can tell A LOT about you: personality, class and virtues, as well as other things one can notice from those little pieces of written symbols :p
said Ice Princess,
Gotta say, I never considered it.
I spose my signature does say a lot about me; it's slapdash, doesn't fit properly on the pays and trails out before the end.. what about anyone else?
Mine shows off my femininity and my graphic design abilities....and my taste in scientists :P
Words of wisdom regarding passing
Quote"Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference." ~Winston Churchill
Words of wisdom regarding those who turn on you, when you come out to them

Words of wisdom on how to live your new life
Quote"And when you get the choice to sit it out or Dance...
I hope you Dance" - Lee Ann Womack
Mine is a lyric but it's pretty true :)
Uhh I forgot what my signature says *posts to look*
Post Merge: July 19, 2010, 07:00:14 PM
Ahh yes, it says that I'm in chat pretty much everyday... and I am, which probably means I have too much time on my hands. :P
And a quote from a documentary about an ftm with ovarian cancer. It's something I've always taken note of, how there's so much diversity in the world and yet so many people are against anything being different or unusual.
JtHM quote ;)
I meant signature, as in the scribbly name thing you put on documents but - hey ho
yeah I was thinking that, but I'm going to do both anyway.
written sig: it's an S in a circle and whenever I do it I think of "superwoman" for some unknown reason ..which is just me I guess rraarrrrr! *copious amounts of shrugging*.
profile sig: I don't have one aawwww. I guess I just like the idea of not taking up more room than I really need to. It annoys me on other forums when peoples sigs are bigger than anything they ever post, and when they do post huge things they don't uncheck their sig. It's like "wow take up half a page why don't you!!" lols.. Pet peeve that is irrational I know. OH well! ^_____^
My signature is a lot like my parent's; scribbly and hard to decipher. I always fancied those kind of signatures. And I always put a dot at the end...
As for forum signature.. Eh I watch BTVS?...
Mine is indecipherable and cool, just the way I like it. ;D

High five. 8)
My old one was indecipherable - just wiggles and loops. My new one (with my new name :)) is legible, strong, confident, and dominates the space.
I wonder if that means anything... ???

My signature is a reminder to myself that GID is a deadly enemy and that I need to completely understand self and GID to come out of this alive on the other side.
I chose the writings of a military master, also as a reminder to self of the conflicted state being male is for me.
Both signatures say the same:
I am boring. I just sign my name.
Didn't have any creative ideas at the time when I decided what they'd look like.
Don't care enough to remedy the situation.
Mine is flowing and open. A lot of loops in it.
like a illegible brain wave pattern with a loop at the end, for style
As for my forum sig, it tells us the opinion that you have to be brave and unshakeable to tell the truth - it's a recipe for integrity - a quality that is tied to my reasons for identifying as androgyne... and it says it in that solid and seemingly unquestionable way that Samuel Johnson had.
I think mine says that I am paranoid and feel alone in the world... and also that I love the book watership down
mine is simply writing my name , i guess it's indication of my tendency to simplicity and just blurring out whatever in my mind
although as a teenager , i had a 'logo' that i always drew beside my name in signature (basically some bones and flowers forming a heart shape)
as for the forum signature , i change it like every two days or something ,usually it's a quot i like which if anything ,i guess it shows how moody i am heh
Written: I think it says my mind changes quite a bit since it goes from kind of a masculine signature to a feminine signature in the span of about 5 letters.
Profile: That I'm toying with an osprey fursona....and something else, but I don't know how well-received it would be on this boar.
As a result of reading this thread before, I now have a signature.
Hope it isn't too obtuese.
I gues mine is self expailntory, me being trans, it would be nice for some understanding even in other parts of who I am that some people seem to misunderstand. The the whip part I think could represent the judgement I face whenever I open up and certain people has something to say that in the end makes me feel like crap. My sinature is has a lot of personal meaning to me that I would rather to keep to myself right now.
Mine is just a rotation of random quotes that are meaningful to me at that point in time.
Cheers
Rayalisse
Mine just has the Kanji for Hikari and underneath it has the Hiragana of it, for those who don't have the Kanji fonts installed (which are fairly large in most operating systems.
There isn't anything profound or thoughtful about it, however; the text under my name ¨Tsubasa wo kudasai¨ has some meaning to me: as I feel that transition is like my wings, that I desperately need so that I may fly (live my life). Of course if you are familiar with the song of the same title it is much more helpful. There is even an English version by Haley Westerna (which oddly I prefer to the Japanese versions, of which there seem to be hundreds). I like her version the best as it has a subtle desperation to it, that I certainly identify with.
My forum sig simply serves a practical purpose. It's intended to be an efficient way to summarize where I'm coming from so that my posts will make more sense.
I have no idea what my handwriting says about me, nor do I care. My sig is a cross between my sloppy childish writing and an attempt to copy my dad's sig style.
My moniker is non descript, scribble and long winded and a pain to write on reports, which I have shortened to my initials. I still have it on my mind to simplify it, so that it is more neat and clean.
My personal text "Forty Two" is from Douglas Adams classic trilogy "The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy" and of course it is the answer to "Life the Universe and Everything", really nerdy, but really a classic novel.
My forum signature serves as a reminder to everyone, that it is up to you to become the person, who you want to become.
Kind regards
Sarah B
Well, on most forums , I sign out as , "See ya on de Road folks " . I build exibits , models and I still drive professionaly on occasion. I get around a somewhat limited area today as opposed to years ago when I was still in the recovery / towing business. ellen
My forum signature says I should have kept it in my pants :P
as for my squiggly signature, I was never comfortable signing things when I had my old name, my signature never matched and I felt ridiculous every time I had to do it.
I like my new one though, it's loopy and flamboyant....describes me pretty well I think
My sig on documents has always been sloppy and rushed partially because I hoped people wouldn't see my legal name. My sig now though is neat and proud.
My forum sig is a Gandhi quote which basically just states the truth. First I was ignored, then people fought with me to tell me who I was, they laughed when they couldn't accept it, but eventually I became myself which I think is my "win".
My signature says that if given the chance I could hold some bizarre dinner parties...
My written signature reflects the sentiments of my forum signature. :)

We never had a written signature actually. We've always just wrote our names just like that. We developed one just for our bank account though. It's a big first letter of the name followed by (chained more like it) the rest of the letters which are much scaled down. What it means, I'm not too sure. :-\
Now, the profile signature. That definitely says something about me. Aww... a bright hopeful future? (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fa.imageshack.us%2Fimg291%2F7797%2Foniemoblush.png&hash=4676e36b511f648ddf07830405a424c3aed04c2b)

My signature says my chosen name and birth name look similar enough that i can write illegibly enough to be unable to tell it appart :P
handwritten signature: one can likely pick out the first letters of my first and last name, and the rest is an unreadable, but stylized, squiggle. ;D When autographing CDs, I make an effort to make it slightly more readable.
forum sigs (and profile pics) change with my moods... I generally pick quotes that express something of my androgynous nature.

Although I present myself as a singular person, there are two heads at this side of the computer. :D
Identical twins. Just too cautious not to get indexed on search engines. ^^
