okay so last year I bought this really nice pair of skinny jeans with all this pretty embroidered lace on them, but I wasn't really able to wear them because they were pretty tight so there was, well you know, "lumpyness". Anyways I finally had to try on my jeans the other day now that my swelling has gone down, and it was, hmmm how can I put this... awesome! ;D It felt really good to fit into a pair of stretchy jeans and not have to worry about those unsightly lumps. And walking in tight jeans is definitely easier without all that extra "baggage" down there lol. I know it might sound trivial but it's kind of a big deal to me to have my clothes finally fit like they're supposed to :D
yay! thats so awesome. You rock those tight jeans :)
btw.. I cant wait till the same if true for me when i want to wear a thin tight shirt

Not trivial at all. I think it's important to all of us. I'm not too crazy about pants, but skinny jeans and leggings are a must for me in the fall. I really don't have too much trouble with the skinny's but the leggings are another story :-\
It's crazy lol, I was thinking the same thing today. I have these AWESOME tight jeans in my closet back home. I never wore em and I get to finally wear em and not have to freakin tuck LOL. or finally go to Victoria Secrets and buy some sexy panties and finally wear em right without that annoying bastard there lol.

Exactly! That reminds me I have some lingerie from there that should fit a lot better now too. Whoever thought trying on old clothes could be such fun? ;)

Kristyn, I know what you mean. before I wouldn't dare wear leggings, it just didn't feel right to me even with a good tucking. But, i can't wait to buy some mmmmmm ''FALL FASHION'' LADY ;D just think how easy everything will be.
Yay Chloe!! Nothing better than trying on clothes!! I'm glad they fit so much nicer!! :D
I can't wait until I can do this ^_^ It's definitely not trivial. You can finally wear what you want to comfortably.

I've always worn them but I was just so paranoid wearing them. My attention was always focused on that area and that's what made it so uncomfortable. :P I just want to really be able to wear a thong ;) Much more appealing under clothes--no lines! :)
That is one thing I can't wait to do. So awesome!!!
YAY! :D
Congrats Chloe, I have a question though did you just try them on or are you actually able to were them with comfort.
I was thinking it would be longer before i was able to were tight jeans??
I'm still wearing an ultrathin pad for just in case, and still a bit sore down there. I tried them on but also went out and took a short walk down the block just to see how it felt. It was a bit uncomfortable yet because they were tight and rubbed a bit but it just felt good to be able to do it! Most of my swelling has gone down now. I normally wear long skirts and dresses anyway (I'm a bohemian lol) but I like jeans sometimes (only certain brands :)), and yeah, leggings too lol. Can't wait to wear them to the mall, but that will prolly be a few more weeks yet
Thanks Chloe, I just bought a few bohemian skirts myself hehe.
Only thing for me is my SRS is at the end of Oct so i really don't think Nov in Cleveland is gonna be skirt weather. Looks like it's gonna be sweats for me :(

I am so happy for you. It must be wonderful to be complete. I can't wait to wear really tight jeans and tights!
Pam
Heck yah girl that's so awesome!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait till I can wear yoga pants the right way.
Wow I can't believe it's been a month since your surgery already! hehe
i've resisted buying any pretty knickers or tight pants because of the lump but soon as I'm done I'll be throwing out all the plain cotton and getting pretty ones.
I really wanna wear my yoga pants without wincing every 10 minutes to make sure nothing slipped when im doing some of my moves!!

Ha ha, just what I did, funny how they just seem to fit and feel more comfortable once the lumps gone, and being able to wear leggings without worrying, all I can say is, fantastic.

Hi Chloe, I can't agree more and words can not express it really. It's like being born again, lol. I still can't believe it, but this is so amazingly wonderful. It's so much more fantastic than I could have imagined before surgery. I could write and write how amazing and as you say fun life is now.
I know off topic but did I say this life is fantastic, If I didn't, it is, lol. I suppose I will come down from the clouds eventually, lol.

Speaking of 'Jeans', when exactly is a good time to wear tight jeans after surgery? I tried the other day and it didn't feel right, I guess cause of the swelling. How long did it take you ladies to get to that point where you could wear tight fitting jeans?
at just over 5 weeks my swelling has gone down and I can fit into my jeans okay, though the problem is that tight jeans rub so I still get a bit sore after wearing them for a while because my skin is still tender down there. I'm okay for a quick run to the store or something, but not quite ready yet to wear them all day. I guess most of my swelling was gone down at 3 to 3 1/2 weeks, but once it does even having your panties (or bikini bottoms) fit like they're supposed to is a great feeling. ;)
@ stardust :D I surely do hope so. I've. Been on this forum for a few months now and have watched while some of you ladies be born ;,))) <3 and I'm so happy to have been able to be in.contact with such wonderful people , whom have quite honestly been very very helpful and cont to be supportive in ways which you might not even be aware of ....just reading the forum sometimes helps because someone has already asked or has answered your questions without you even having to do so ...... tanx. I was wearing them three weeks post op without to much discomfort so I guess it depends on each individuals healing.

It is so awesome to hear that. I've wanted so much to wake up some day and have the right anatomy. Your description sounds plucked right out of my dreams. But instead of dreaming i am a women and then waking up to be bitterly disappointed, it will be real! For the rest of my life! The part about being able to feel it, and the happiness it brings, sounds like it will make everything I'm about to face worth it. Can't wait 'till my first therapy session on Wednesday!

I don't know--she doesn't look like the type ;) But then again...
yes I was being honest... I took the rubbish out the other day, which in my apartment means walking all the way to the end of the parking lot to the dumpster. I was wearing only a top, bra, and a wrap skirt, with nothing underneath. It was a bit breezy that day and I kept worrying that the wrap skirt would blow open in the wind while I had my hands full of bags! Luckily it didn't blow open (not all the way anyways lol) but it did feel nice and cool, and Jessica is right, a bit naughty too haha

OK, I can't believe what I'm reading here! Some of you are really surprising me. OK, so I'm no angel, but I think I draw the line at Pam's idea of going commando with the short skirt--just a little over the top for me--but I'm not holding that against you Pam. :)
I am sorry I got carried away. I was just so happy for Chloe. My skirts will be below the knees with my legs crossed when my plumbing is correct. Sometimes a girls imagination gets the best of her.

Well on topic, it's about how wonderful it is to be complete and whole, and the side benefit of having your clothing fit in the manner to which it was designed. Every single day this is just a reminder of how great it is to be cured once and for all, which is a real source of happiness that can't be taken away. :)

I can see what you mean on fit, because when I wear jeans it seems im always missing that extra 1" - 1"/2 that would allow my jeans to stay there!
Although, I do need a booty as well.. I mean I have a booty but im missing fat on top of it to complete the waist line. This will be fixed with fat transfer (Brazilian butt lift) w/ the same doc who did my boobs

Well since you ask, its right in T.O
http://www.plastica.ca/cosmetic-surgery/body-contouring/buttock-augmentation-enlargement/ (http://www.plastica.ca/cosmetic-surgery/body-contouring/buttock-augmentation-enlargement/)
Look at the first before and after pics near the bottom of the page (I have that current type of body missing fat at the back)
A brazillian butt lift, takes fat away from one place by liposuction and transfers it to the buttocks filling areas where there is no proper fat.
If you notice in the first example how nice and natural the butt looks without (implants) in the after shows (back)
I can't wear tighter jeans, it always seems the thigh part is always too tight, or the waist is too tight. Im not much of a complainer towards the jeans themselves but I did plan to get the brazillian butt lift after surgery. I however trust Dr. Sliwin only since he did a magnificent job on my boobs. His website unfortunately doesnt show before and after pics.

It is wonderful to be complete, everytime I get out of the shower and see myself in the mirror I see the image of a complete woman, the person I should have been born as. Yes clothes fit better but better than that is the way my inner being now fits better with my new body. Finally after so many years I have an inner peace and happiness I never thought I could or would have.
you're absolutely right- the best fit of all is the way our new bodies fit who we really are. Nothing better than that ;)
I'm looking forward to clothes fitting right. You must be so happy Chloe
Wow can't belive what I have been reading in this thread, some naughty girls here :)
From experience I can say I have gone out with a skirt on and no panties. It wasn't a long bohemian type either, but a jeans skirt that went to my knees. if i didn't keep my legs close while sitting I definately gave a show and my BF at the time got one ( he also didn't know my background, so this was very gratfying to me).
The comment about the camel toe made me laugh. One of the first times I went out wearing leggings I was with a friend of mine who was born a woman and knew of my past. We were shopping in the mall and I met her there. She came up to me and we hugged and had a little cheeek peck. She said "let me look at you!" and I stepped back and opened my hands and gave a little knee bend kinda showing off. She had a huge smile and said I looked great and leaned in to whisper I was rocking the camel toe. She said I turned beat red, but told me not to worry, it's just another sign of being a woman. I was concious of it all day and made sure my top covered it up most of the day.

I can't believe I missed this thread until now. Pre-op I told my daughter that I wanted the surgery so my clothes would fit properly. She rolled her eyes and said that she hoped I had more reasons than that. (Yes, I had lots of reasons, but that was one of them.) It's nice to see I wasn't alone.
Even the jeans I wore pre-op fit better now – snug where they should be. Being configured correctly is wonderful in so many ways. Haven't gone commando with a skirt yet, though, but like most women around here I rarely wear skirts. Hmmm, it's supposed to be warm and breezy tomorrow... >:-)

My srs is in february 2011, I imagine the first month wearing skirt and dress is more facility.
