Title: Harness for play
Post by: Radar on July 22, 2010, 10:19:37 PM
I've been looking at a prosthetic for play and I'm wondering about harness options. The prosthetic has 3-D testicles with it so I'd like a harness where they won't be confined, squished or crushed. :icon_eek: I admit I don't know much about harnesses and have never had or used one.

This prosthetic is set up where it can be attached and will stay on even during play, but I've also heard of issues with this. Not just with this prosthetic but many prosthetics during play. As a newbie to this I'd like to have a harness to start with then use as back-up if needed.

Well, it would depend on what prosthetic it is, how it's shaped, etc. A lot of the ones that are glued on might not be "harness friendly."

This one can be glued on or a harness used- it's safe for both. As for it's shape it's just like a real penis. I really don't know how else to answer that. :-\

For reference it's the Lucas Plus from LolaJake.

Yea, that's what I wanted to know. It does have a tab but I'm not sure how solid the base is. If the tab at the top isn't hard you'll run into problems with a harness and keeping it in place during sex.
There are two general kinds of harnesses: one strap or two. A harness with one strap would have a single strap go from the O ring (part that goes around the shaft) like a thong. A harness with two straps has...well...two straps like a jock strap. I like two straps, myself. The commando harness (ASLAN Leather has a vegan, Babeland for leather) is a good option. It's very basic but you might run into some problems with cleaning because it's made of leather and vinyl.
