people are startin to treat me like crap. they kno my grandfather is gay and my best friend is transgendered. they treat me as if they can catch a disease from me bc of my grandfather and friend. it really pisses me off how noone ever steps up to speak on the behalf of the LGBT who is not gay, bi, or transgendered. In the end, dont we all bleed when we are cut, cry when we are sad? arent we all HUMAN? the answer is YES. People tend to keep their heads up their asses (pardon my french) and try to bring misery to others. And quite honestly, I've had it. Everyone here at Susans is a wonderful and beautiful person, I love you all. Any advice as to how i should deal with this issue?
If those people say something out right to you, you should defend your stance. If they don't say anything outright and just sort of ignore you, you should ignore them. You can find better people to hang out with and be around.
haha i love you Shang. you always have infinite wisdom. -hugs-
but yeah, it really does hurt me, bc its like an attack on my family, which is a part of me.

Don't let the people get to you, they're just a**es and aren't worth it...unless they're being extremely rude and to your face and around you, then you can go off on them (hopefully in a polite way, though I'd understand if you got snappy with them). I've got an uncle who made fun of my cousin (who's gay) and he was being really rude...I politely went quiet and I haven't talked to the uncle since (no big loss 'cause he's a dick).
yea, i can get very violent. hey, wat kinda music do u listen to? jw
All sorts, sort of. I won't listen to rap, hip-hop, or country.
But I love bands like Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Marilyn Manson, Miyavi, Nightwish, etc. I also like classical music like Mozart and I'm a fan of baroque and Gregorian chant.
What about you?
PanterA, Suicide Silence, Motley Crue, Iron Maiden, Black Label Society, Trivium, Angel Vivaldi (hes amazing and i kno him personally :D), BMTH

Sadly this is the way it is a lot of the time. I do have a lot of straight/cisgender friends that are supportive thankfully though so they are out there! =)
yea. i love you guys. i consider you all my brothers and sisters. thanx you guys
When people start to get to me I like to remember Churchill's quote, when a lady accused him of being drunk, "Madam, I may be drunk, but in the morning I shall be sober. You however are irredeemably ugly, and doomed to remain so".
Another from a English girl with a gay father,in reply to a fat bloke, "My Dad might be a poof, but I love him, and anyway at least he didn't eat all the pies!"
Just waiting for the right time to use them!
Everyone here is wonderful, but I do think there are a lot of wonderful people out there.
