Is it true that you play a transsexual in the film?
No, I play me. Although I'm gender queer and transgender, I'm not transsexual. I've been sitting on the fence for years. I've been typecast as a 72-year-old alcoholic lounge singer for the last ten years, so it's nice to be cast as myself. I might be an alcoholic lounge singer but I'm not in my seventies.
