On friday I almost died of a heart attack. (2 actually) Luckily for me, here I am it seems.
Durring that time away when I was in ICU I often thought of the people here who have been an inspiration and have either inadvertantly or overtly helped guide me as I transition.
I hoenstly can say there are members here who have saved me from suicide. Although I am loathe to point it out. lol
I doubt I would have made it as far as I have without some of ya'll.
Thank you guys and gals who are here for eachother every day. Most of us humans are pieces of turd and I am sure no one here is an exception, yet when we are here we take the time to try and aproach eachother with wisdom and a soft heart, often times when our own hearts are torn from our own issues. That is pretty special and I just wanted too take the time to thank you folks for being here.

I'm glad you are still here Cynthalee. Like Janet said, do what the docs say and stay right where you are (here). I can completely relate to being saved from suicide (on more than one occasion) by some of the most awesome people in the world who I count as my friends here in Susan's.
I really don't know you well, yet, but I hope you get to hang on here long enough for me to count you as one of those friends.

coming so close to death really reminds us what's important in life and I don't mean that as a platitude, I know it from experience too. I'm very glad you're okay hon and hope you feel better soon. :)

I know I'm new around here but I read your other post as well (which I can't seem to find to comment on cause I checked it on my phone earlier) I just wanted to say that I'm very glad that you are okay and I wish you good health in the future, hopefully you will not have to return to that hospital but should you I hope they have the site unblocked for you. I am doing much better. I go in to see my family doctor today for a follow up after the fact of the heart attack.
I am not 100% yet and I am under orders from my doctor (and strict orders from the wife) to be on light duty. I am not suppossed to do anything too strenuous.
I have been placed on 3 new drugs for this.
Emotionaly I am much better, almost 100%. Although I will admit that the tears come easy if I think about it too much.
Thanx for the concern. I get more support from my ->-bleeped-<- family than I do from my real life family. (not saying my blood kin don't care. Just ya'll care more and it is obvious.)
You know something. One of the things which realyl cheers me up is searching for Virginia-Marie's latest avitar photo.
I can't say why exactly, but they always make me smile. :)
