My dad and I have had an interesting relationship throughout my life. I have always loved him, and I know he has always loved me. We never had the typical, father - son, relationship. We are close, such as we both love gadgets and movies. But never on sports or racing. And he know and accepted that. Recently, I am visting his house in California. Of course I have keep up with my girls on Susans, so I visit it on his computer. I forgot to clear the history. Next time on the way to his house, we are talking and I bring up the topic of him not reminding to cut my hair. He says, "It's your hair, do what you want with it. Along with other things, you know what I mean?" he smiled at me. "No, I don't know what you mean." I replied. "I found where you went on the history, Susans." I get really nervous. Basically the rest of what he said in the conversation was. "I love you, for you. You need to do what you need to do in life to make sure you are happy. Whatever makes you happy, makes me happy. I love you and support what you do!" One of the best days in my life happended today! :)
Wow....
It just doesn't get any better than that! :-)
I know right! :) Yah for family! :)
Sometimes I think we are our own worst enemy. It's difficult to distinguish what we fear will happen from what will really happen.

Thank you for all the replies, ladies! OMG though, he read some of the articles here on susans. Some of which I wrote in on, and included a little information about his male boobs... *blush*
Wow your very lucky to have such an understanding parent. Luckily mine were the same but there are lots of girls around who aren't so lucky. Cherish his support and love, you will need it as your tglife continues.
Thank you Dinky! I cherish his love everday. We love two states away, so seeing him and talking to him is even more special!

Hi Tyler
Absolutely brilliant, a lovely short story, put a smile to my face. If you have the time, it would be interesting to hear what else you and your dad have said.
