Hi!
Been a while, but I got a new job and a whole bunch of other fun stuff going on.
There's been a bit more focus by me of late on gender issues. A lot of my depression has lifted, but I'll still spontaneously cry when I think about my gender and it's associated confusion.
I'll be without therapy for a while while my new insurance kicks in ... So I'm looking for a little Support group in the area mid-north Illinois or So. Wis ... any ideas?
I'll be back more often, my new employer has less demands on my time, which is awesome ...
thanks ..
beatrix
I live in the South-Eastern corner of Wisconsin, and the closet trans support group that I know of is in Milwaukee, WI. I think there are probably some in Chicago, IL also.
There are a ton of support groups in Chicago as it is a trans-friendly city.
Hi b/d ...how are things hon?
Well, let's see what we have here..........

In Chicago there's Island Girls, North Side Girls, Chicago Area Crossdressers, Power ->-bleeped-<- Girls and others. There's stuff going on every week. And there's a whole bunch of T friendly places to go.
If you're interested, e-mail or PM me and I'll put a list together for you.
Julie
I PM'd ya! Thank you!
Necromancing yet again, but I am from just outside of Chicago, I didn't want to start a new topic if one already existed.
Thank you for the link to the chicago group. And you are right, Chicago is very accepting, they have neighborhoods that are very gay/lesbian friendly as well.
There is a bookstore called "women and children first" that has hundreds of LGBT books.
