Is it supposed to sound horse when you start using your female voice?
The safe bet seems to be a "no". Time and again the best advice I hear is never to strain your voice so. Drink plenty of water, take breaks and avoid pushing it. Unless your voice is hoarse for a different reason.. it's quite likely you're going to damage yourself doing that.
Not smoking helps...or trying stupidly hot chilli sauce.

I think it's supposed to be hoarse after a short while when you are just starting, you just shouldn't strain it further when it happens.
I have never had a problem with my voice, from always singing like a girl, to talking to little kids witha mother voice and singing higher pitched than all my friends whom are girls
My voice was fatigued usually by the end of the day for a time until it strengthened up. And right at the beginning I could only hold it for a few hours.
I've not noticed spicy foods giving me trouble. One thing that dose wear my voice out and weaken is milk and dairy foods. And it makes me gungy and I know I'm not supposed to cough (always drink water and swallow) but it makes me so slimy I can't help it.
And coughing too much makes me hoarse and can seriously weaken my voice.
one thing I notice is that I try to sing along with a favourite song on radio my voice next day is really rough and male...gentle low speaking seems best to keep the sound right.
go to some space and listen to ypurself shouting to se how male it gets as you get louder.
then see how next day its gone really male again.
gently does it.
