I am possibly needing some corrective surgery and Ive been to Dr. Reed's site. Looks like some nice work, but as I am doing research im finding pros and cons. Ive talked to his head nurse Ann, and she seems very knowledgeable herself. Does anyone have direct experience surgically with him as a MTF, either for revision work or SRS MTF?? Im just looking for ppl that have direct experience, no hearsay. Thanks!
I know of someone who had her surgery with him and also a friend living not far from me who had corrective surgery with him. Here is a piece of what she emailed me
" Here are a few things to keep in mind. If something needs to be repaired in your surgery, which make sure to
familiar yourself with some of the common post-procedure complications, it is hard to find a local stateside Dr who will do surgery on you.
Dr Reed was nice enough to work on me this last time, but the first time I needed a repair, I couldn't find anyone who would do it. My skin around my urethra was kinda thin and it pulled open, like stretching my urethra downward. This pretty much was very uncomfortable all the time. So then I went to Dr Reed in Miami and he repaired the urethra area and haven't any problems with that since. That was 1 1/2 years ago. Ok, now the bad is out of the way I will give you the positive. Dr Chettawut and Dr Reed were very nice and wonderful and both made me feel very comfortable."
I definitely think Dr. Reed is perfect for post op complications so its definitely something to look into.
^I didnt catch the downside? My problem is post op repair sooo..and ive looked at his website and pics look to be the best ive seen in the US.
I HEARD HES VERY GOOD..I LIVE IN SOUTH BEACH FL..I SEEN SOME GIRLS THAT DONE THE SURGERY WITH HIM SO HES GOOD ;D
Well..im hearin hes very good..Like you cant tell the dif..Better than anyone.., and if his pics depict 3/4 what he can do, he would still be better than what ive seen stateside or out of this country. What caught my eye too is that hes a board certified urologist too.
I had a labiaplasty performed by him.
My original GRS was performed in Thailand, and I was very pleased with the results,

The labiaplasty has truly given me a designer vagina, and a true thing of beauty.
I would say that he is an excellent surgeon, with a wicked sense of humor, and a great staff.
His prices are great too.
