Title: Damn, I've sprained my foot and I have a date
Post by: Cindy on August 02, 2010, 04:29:44 AM
Just for background I do aerobic exercise and leg weights at the gym. I'm on the small size so I'm comfy with getting leg tone. I went on Sunday afternoon and had my usual session. Felt great. Woke up in the middle of the night with my left foot screaming I'M IN AGONY. Took painkillers (rare for me) Could hardly walk in the morning. Managed to get to work. Back home now. I'm limping very badly, it appears I have torn, separated, whatever a tendon in the ball of my foot. It will get better with time said the physio, who seemed quiet surprised by my polished toe nails for some reason. I was in drab BTW ;D. He was very  cute too ::).

But I was going out for dinner on Wednesday. There is no way I can walk in any sort of heel. I don't have anything smaller than about 1&1/2 inch booties. OK my mistake I like heels. ::) I don't own any flats. Any ideas? I can't get to the shops before the dinner date. I think I may have to cancel, I really am having problems walking.

OK being a cry baby and needing attention as well

Cindy, anyone have a parrot to rent?

Sorry I can't help on this occasion. Almost all my shoes are either flat or less than 1.5 inches. I guess I just don't appreciate discomfort even in the service of vanity!

Sucks though... and you have both my sympathy and admiration for what you put yourself though in the service of attractiveness. I hope he is worth it! ;)
