Just watched a week of Hollyoaks (yawn yawn) and not sure if it was my TV or whether you had to have extremely good hearing to hear him being called jason at the end of tonights episode. Yes its good theyre tackling it but..... am i just too old and expect too much?

I'm afraid I'm really cynical about Hollyoaks presenting this issue in anything but a shallow, audience-grabbing way. But then, maybe that's ME being too old!

I'm not old but I feel the same way. I'm still going to watch it though.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's going to end up sh*t but I'm still watching it.

I hate Hollyoaks with a passion, but I'm watching it for the trans storyline.
I'm really hoping that they'll do a good job with it. They had a bunch of young trans people at different stages of transition on set to coach the actress. She seems really understanding of GID too, so hopefully she's going to pull it off well.

So far I've found it to be quite annoying, but I guess it's the way that they're introducing the issue. It seems that Jasmine can't go anywhere without having her dress sense/boyishness commented on.

I saw an interview with the actress the other day, I think it was on the Radio 1 website. She seems nice and she's quite fit, but that's neither here nor there.

As for the program, I tried to watch an episode the other day but couldn't get through it. The majority of the acting is so bad it was painful.
