First off.. if this isnt allowed you can take it off.
I am trying to make a little extra cash, so I have made a website selling my FTM packer harness, called Trans Pack.
will you check out my website, tell me if it appeals to you? I dont have any pictures yet becuase the only Trans Pack I have is my scrap one that I made testing it out..
but under 'how to use the trans pack' I have directions and a link with pictures.
what do you think of the website? How much would you pay for it? transpack.highwire.com/ (http://transpack.highwire.com/)
link disabled
Seems that other mods disagree with me--restoring the link
*whispers* guide seems to be linked incorrectly
huh.. which part is linked wrong?
i get a 404 for
<<View Directions>>
thats weird
It works for me.. i'll look into it, maybe other people will be able to see it
what do you think of the website anyway?
I got a 404 Aswell.
it works for me
if i had a packer i wood get it
like the layout and it reads quite enthusiastic.... plus trying is always good
Site looks good bro. Keep updating it and im sure youll get some business. Also, if you haven't already, try and submit your page to some search engines so people can search for it on google or yahoo.
The site shows up for me - looks good and seems worded very well. Good luck.
I can see it.
The site looks good.
Depending on the material &pics and stuff, id say around $10.
The site looks great Elijah. Average packer harness price I've found is around $20 so probably $10 maybe $15 if you are wanting to be competitive. Can't wait to see the product man
this is a first for me! I've never seen any other transperson offering something so well thought out to the perfect target audience.
Send out some mailshots to T magazines to try build demand?
Put this first effort in your resume for later use with career moves.
I get an error when clicking "view directions" too. Looking forward to seeing the pics though.
Site design looks good. The only thing I don't like is the big bold text under the Trans Pack heading. The letters and words are all too close together in my opinion and it makes it harder to read.
As for the product; I wouldn't buy anything without seeing pictures.
Hi, guys. I disabled the link but am leaving in the address for now. It's okay to post links to your private pix and blogs and stuff, but I consider this to be advertising your business. There's a bit of gray area with regard to this sort of thing, but I think it's okay to just post the address. I'll look into it.
Elijah, the URL for the "view directions" link is missing one / in the http:// part of it. That's why it isn't working.
I restored the original link because some other mods thought it was okay. Elijah clearly isn't a spammer--those are easy to decide--but I was under the impression that you're not allowed to promote your own Web business here. Other people's business links have been disabled in the past, but perhaps those folks were new members who hadn't established a trusted presence here. Elijah has.
Enjoy.
Thanks Arch.

I'll play around with the text. i dont have pictures yet becuase I only have my draft prototype.. and its made out of an underwear waistband.. I need to make some good nice looking copies before I put up pictures.

I added another "/" is the link working for everyone now?
I have to ask because the link worked for me before.. so I cant myself know that it is working better.
It's working for me.
Link worked for me, no problems, as well.
The link works for me and it looks good Elijah

The link is working for me and it looks a good product Elijah
looks good, but a bit useless without photos. i am the sort of person who just cannot read directions at all, i need photos or need to actually physically work with it to understand how it works haha.
I'm loving the rainbow background. :D
Oh, and the picture you've put up as directions is just adorable.
What exactly are the British tax standards and requirements for doing biz over the net? Better find out before you owe more than you make.
I saw that you changed a few things, it looks better Elijah.
:)
What is the color availability?

the tax people will notice if sales take off and then regardless of anything else a tax return form will have to be completed and sent off so the taxman can figure out what tax is due.

I was gonna go with just black, but maybe white too? Rainbow would be awesome haha, dunno how many guys would go for it though
Yeah, itd be good to start off with just one color. Stay simple, black would work well.
Then add on for any requests you get. Later on would be good to have black, white, and maybe a tan(skin tone). And then later later, when you get your sales up, you could add rainbow and other such colors.
:)
But just sticking with one for now would be good.

That is a brilliant website - tells exactly what the product is and has all the visuals - rainbow, crotch shot, concise text...very good.
If the working site has price/sizes?/address and the potential customers like what you're offering it could work.
getting clicks is the key to success so if you're going to go ahead with it you need to be getting some links to yours.
The site looks awesome. I love the picture! :D Awesome. I'll put a thumbs up on StumbleUpon for you. Hope you get some good business.
The site looks good! Cool design, and I love your picture by picture directions! I was a little confused when I read them, but the pictures cleared it right up. :D
I like the design, and the friendly tone of your pitch. I also really like your list of advantages to your product over others. The fact that it has a fabric backing to keep the packer from pulling on the short and curlies definitely piques my interest. I'd probably pay $10-$15 for it, though like others have said, I'd need to see pictures before I could say definitely how much I'd be willing to pay.
Some questions that come to mind that you may want to think about answering. (Maybe add a a FAQ page?)
- With no leg straps, how does it stay in place?
- How thick is the material behind the ring? Is it likely to bunch up under the packer?
- Does the design work well with an STP?
- How durable is it? How long can I expect it to last?
- Do you offer some kind of warranty?
- What is your return policy?
- What type of shipping do you use? (USPS, FedEx, etc.)
- What is the turn-around time? How long should I expect to wait before I get my package?
Good luck with this. I think you may have a winner here. :)

thanks, I will deff start working on a FAQ page
I agree, I really like the page. Its a good start to a good product :) i'd definitely get one to try out and if it works really well, recommend it to others, get the support going. Good job and good luck!
I really like this idea and when you've gotten it all sorted out I'd be more than happy to try one. :)
