Cute, but I wouldn't call the photo of Reykjavik's mayor on the right proof of Iceland's supreme progressiveness (their economic policies would advise against labeling them too far to the left, although people are at least responding appropriately). It wasn't too long ago that our biggest city's mayor also put on a dress, and progressive isn't the word I would use to describe him.
