Title: Orchi Questio
Post by: Kellsie on August 10, 2010, 11:11:28 AM
It seems I have either read or heard that after getting an orchiectomy that one can get their gender marker changed.  Does anyone know if this is true?

I changed my ID in Oregon prior to having mine done.  But once I had mine done, I was able to change the gender marker with the Social Security Administration.

In Massachusetts, I was able to have my marker changed simply by filling out a form for the RMV and having my Doctor sign it... 25 dollars and a new picture later, I am now an "F" :)

liberal hippy states actually care about their citizens.

It's an irreversible sex change procedure that, with the proper wording of a letter, allows social security administration gender marker change. Many here have done it. I am planning to do so in the near future, most likely.
