I guess the only thing i want to add is change, seems to be the only constant. I always get afraid after a while of not changing or doing something differently that i'll get stuck in a rut or not be able to change well when the time comes (and they all come at some point)..We seem to be creatures of habit as a rule? That may be one fo our down falls...
Has anyone ever read or heard of the short training book "who moved my cheese"..?? It's about life/career/work/ and most inportantly recognizing, embracing and changing.. Very good read.
Work or changing jobs is a good example. I work with quite a few people that have 30 plus years at this one place? It's nice i guess but to me scary they have no idea what is out there in other work areas or jobs or other employers all they know is what they've known with this one employer...
I move around (not as much as i used to when younger and job hopping as a chef) and i am coming up on 5 year now and worry maybe I'll need to take a step in another direction or same job different area.. But am not afraid to - i've done it before.
scary that change for a lot of people is soo difficult! Thanks for writing the above i reread it and i honestly helped me and will be put to the test in the next few months or sooner with some big time changes here at home and i am trying ahead of time to try and figure out how i'll handle all this stuff when it happens....

well, since i am technically catholic, i believe there is a hell, but i believe that only evil people go there because they would not be able to live harmoniously in heaven.
well here is something that i think seems to relate a bit

When Life Passes By
When you were young and carefree did you ever think life could pass you by in the blink of an eye?
If you were like me then no you did not in fact you goaded and prodded life to hurry up so you could be older.
Once you get life riled up though it just charges like an angry rhino
and before you know it you could be fifty three,
When you look back on life do you ever think wow all that seemed to happen just the other day.
Time is but a merciless beast and as its endless it will chew you up and spit you out before you can cry in fear
but anyways, to me thingsa seem meaningless because time is infinate.
