GOP candidate goes after 'divas' vote

It's not everyday that a Republican candidate for office surrounds himself with a group of scantily-clad drag queens to try to raise money for his campaign.
But, hey, this is the left-leaning District. And Marc Morgan say's he proud to court the city's gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community.
Morgan, a black gay Republican, will be hosting a fundraiser billed as "Latin Flava" Sunday at Cobalt nightclub in Dupont Circle. Morgan, the GOP nominee in Ward 1, has created a Facebook page advertising the event, complete with photographs of the "Divas de La Rumba" who will be performing at the event.
