Title: Understanding Transgender Lives
Post by: Julie Marie on December 07, 2006, 09:56:33 AM
About a year ago I participated in a transgender study.  The first part was an online survey then if you wanted they would do a phone interview.  I filled out the survey then volunteered for the phone interview.  The unexpectedly high number of respondents forced them to abandon the phone interviews and just go with e-mail interviews which I completed.  I also was active in informing local and Internet TG organizations of the existence of the study and encouraged participation.  I exchanged several e-mails with with Dr. Brett-Genny Beemyn and offered my help.  It seemed a noble cause.

The findings have been posted on the Internet for some time but I had forgotten the address.  While cleaning up old e-mails, I found it.  For anyone interested, here it is: http://www.umass.edu/stonewall/translives/
