Title: Breast pain increasing
Post by: Dana Lane on September 06, 2010, 02:58:35 PM
I have been on HRT for over a year and had some kind of pain throughout that time but lately it seems things are kicking into high gear. The pain around my nipples has significantly increased.  My areola are getting wider and now I have what could be considered 'puffies'. Until they get hard, that is.

Have any other ladies on HRT longer than a year experienced this? I have this weird feeling my boobs are about to take off and I am hoping that is the case. I barely fill an A right now.

It can go on in fits and starts almost forever.

For a long while I was B cup, then C, then D then E and finally F.

Each time there was a lengthy pause in between. I think I was 10 years or more post before they fully settled.

I pretty much know that tenderness.... I've been pretty tender the last month or so.  7 months post op srs.. and 3 years post HRT start.....  that tenderness has come and gone (only the wind knows why it blows).....But sure enough, a medical exam today (for Canadian immigration), the doctor was feeling around, and I almost let out a eeeek, when she was doing a breast exam.

I'll take the pain, for the growth, for sure!    Your experience may be the same.. don't let a lapse of 6-9 months fool you, it could come back... in force!
