Title: 2 weeks No Hormones
Post by: Kristyn on September 08, 2010, 09:50:27 AM
I think I'm doin' alright...

Seriously, I'm not feeling anything--no strange hairs or hot flashes.  As a matter of fact, I'm feeling cold.  A few days back I thought I was experiencing a hot flash, but then I realized the temperature was 37c with a humidex of 49c--yeah, that's pretty warm!!!

I'm guessing it's partly due to diet--primarily plant based.  I did add soy products to my diet as well about a month before surgery, so that may have something to do with it.

I think I experienced more changes stopping some of my supplements than I did with the hormones.

hahha.. too funny.   Not a bad looking ape-woman :)

I didn't find 2 weeks to bad either... before you know it the T-makers will be gone for you anyway, and you'll be back on unabated E!   :)

One thing I was actually worried about for awhile is having too low of T.  At my 4 month post-op blood test mark, my T was below the expectant range, and I was feeling lethargic.  I wasn't sure if the two were related, or if I was just a bit depressed coming out of surgery with a general anesthetic and 4 months of painkillers (which I went off at month 4).  But by my post-op 7 month blood results, it showed T in the low end of the expectant range (which is perfect, imo), and my energy levels are back to their pre-surgery highs!

You are so close now, woman!  Yay!!! you are in such good shape, you will fly through recovery, and then I'll have to hide my boyfriend, AND, my girlfriend! :P

in general is not easy stop hrt for most week, some emotional and hot flash, is different for each person.

in 2008 y have stopped for 6 week because y have surgery for remove biliial vesicular.

in january 2011 stoping again, because my srs is in february 2011, y dont know my reaction at stoping hrt again in prep for srs.

in 2008 y have remarked hair growing in my face , but y have 16 treatment of laser epilation 2003-2008, but my next is electrolys, because laser not done a good  result..

the laser is not definitive and the laser is most definitive solution.
