Title: Walking against the wind
Post by: Bones on September 09, 2010, 03:58:01 PM
Ok...so you spend all that time binding, layering to only have to walk against the wind and BAM You have a hump there...anybody have any nifty tricks to hide that while walking against the wind? I was holding my shirt out in front of me while I walked but I imagine people might think that odd...any suggestions?

in the fall and winter it is easier, like if i have a hoodie on and stick my hands in my pockets and kind of pull it down and out and no one seems to think that is weird. but if i just have a t-shirt on its tough. Just try to own it if you can, people will analyze you more if you look awkward about it than if you are just walking and not caring about what people think they see.

Oh i hate that, its the worse, especially if you don't have a binder. The best thing to do is just hold it down and forward, like carson said. And it is getting colder, so its easier to put on a jacket, coat or hoodie.

I hate that too!  I just do what others have suggested: Put my hands in the jacket or hoodie's pockets and push them down.  I've seen plenty of other people do that so I don't think it would look weird or draw attention to yourself.

Yeah very good points. I am in Texas at the moment, so hotter than hell...so it's hard to do the hoodie thing. But headed up to Chicago soon so I can layer again yay! Thanks guys..I like the hoodie, pocket suggestion
