Well... Tonight is the season opening game for the NFL football... I for one am excited :eusa_dance:
I love the game even though I just half watch it... But that's because when something exciting happens they show a replay and I can go about doing other things in between
The only things that bug me is I can't seem to pick a favorite team and the cute ladies attire they sell online can be so expensive... If you like a handful of teams that can mean a fist full of $$$ :P
When I was in college, 3 of my flatmates were aspiring sports announcers. Consequently, the only television in the apartment had sports ONLY on it. Except for the occasional break to watch Seinfield.
Since they were so knowledgeable about the game and could do play-by-play and do color commentary as good as the guys on TV, a lot of times we let them practice their craft while we watched the games muted.
Anyway, after so much sports overload, I think I've actually watched a total of 20 sports events (or attended) in the last 15 years. We almost always watch the Super Bowl (80% for the advertising innovations versus the game) Not that I don't enjoy a game here and there but I've seen it taken to extremes and my interests lie elsewhere.
I don't plan my day around a game, but I do watch them. Being from th PNW, i have to cheer on the hometown boys, so to speak.
Go Seahawks. ;D Which can cause a problem with my girlfriend, she like the Steelers.
Well... With the remainder of the season opening games being played Sunday and last night I'm glad I didn't bet on any
Some of my teams faired well while others gave up inexcusable losses... Oh... The drama...
I can't wait for week two!!! ;D
